  2. Cite your sources for all researched activitiesin MLA format.
  3. Cassette #2-Come to class before or after school or at lunch. Make an appointment first and don’t wait to the last minute!

  8. Le Métro: Les panneaux du metro: Make a visual poster using pictures of the metro map, the entrances, metro stops, inside the train and interesting metro stops. research some of the art nouveau stops and some decorated like the site name-example-Louvre. Make it to fit in your notebook. Have a minimum of 10 pictures and a maximum of 20 pictures. You may find other pictures at other sites. Remember to cite your sources.   9. Le Chandeleur : On a separate piece of paper translate the crêpe recipe for the French holiday Chandeleur, including ingredients and how to mix and cook them. Put this paper in your notebook .
  10. Noël: Scan and read the whole site. Write down 30 different details about Noël in France. (30 points) Record the activity and the score on your log sheet. Put the paper in your notebook.

  12. Les 13 desserts de Noël en Provence-Read about these 13 desserts. List them and give other details about this tradition.
  13. Find a recipe for a Bûche de Noël log cake. Download the recipe and remember to cite your source. Also find out 5 details about the tradition of this cake. Record the activity and the score on your log sheet and put the paper in your notebook.
  14. Les Santons: Check out this site for pictures of santons. Download a page that you like, then research les santons on another site and write a paragraph of 5-7 sentences in English about the Christmas traditions of these figurines. Cite your source. Place the pictures and the paragraph in your notebook.
  15. Les professions: Ecoutez et faites une liste de 10 métiers.
